Here we are in early May….and you should absolutely have a good “feel” for nearly every rookie in last years draft. Most of the rankings worked themselves out by mid-Jan… but a few trends that took shape in Feb – May included:
- Trae Young really is something special…and is giving Doncic a RoY run.
- The big men – outside of Ayton and some Mitchell Robinson appearances – have been a huge letdown.
- Playoff Rookies were basically irrelevant – SGA, Shamet, Kurucs, Diallo, + Holiday.
- The injured and G-league top names continue to hold impressive value: Porter Jr, Walker Jr, Kostas, and a few others.
- We need to see these guys stay healthy: Jaren Jackson Jr, Wendell Carter, Zhaire Smith, + Marvin Bagley.
With that said….here are who I’m most excited to watch in Summer League + early next season (for investment purposed)
PLAYERS TO WATCH in 2019-19
- Michael Porter Jr — confirmed for Summer League
- Collin Sexton — if surrounded with talent can he be the next De’Aron Fox?
- Jaren Jackson Jr — is he assertive enough to be a game changer?
- Lonnie Walker Jr — Will the Spurs system allow him to transform into a star?
- Zhaire Smith — He showed some flashed in the few minutes at end of season…this is why I’m so high on him.
With all that said, I’m excited to get you the data up through May 6th, 2019. This is for all Prizm Silver RAW sales…
Because of the sheer amount of supply…there has been a lot of good data to keep monitoring. But this will absolutely start to shift to graded cards by early summer. For now I’ll keep this focused on raw prices. BUT…. I have updated the GRADED multipliers for PRIZM up through May 6th…and here is what you can expect (on avg):
Now let’s dig into the numbers!

Criteria
We run reports on all rookies PRIZM SILVER sales for a given week. We exclude any variation, auto, or memorabilia prices to make sure you are getting a good representation of the actual silver pricing. We use silver prices as a baseline because they are considered by many to be the de facto standard for “base” rookie – NBA cards.
