Everyone loves Topps Chrome baseball, it’s the flagship chrome product in the baseball category and it has consistently been the primary RC Autograph to collect. Today we are going to give you a pricing update after 5 days of “official release” — we will add more data over the next few weeks to keep you updated on pricing.

2021 Topps Chrome Box Pricing
Here are the going rates and the prices we’d be more excited at paying…
HOBBY:
- Currently around $230.
- We’d be more interested around $175 ((Lowest Price on eBay RIGHT HERE)
HTA/JUMBO:
- Currently around $430
- We’d be more interested around $350 (Lowest Price on eBay RIGHT HERE)
BLASTER:
- Currently around $40.
- SRP is $30 and we don’t expect the blasters to drop much more. $35-$40 seems relatively in-line with expectations. ((Lowest Price on eBay RIGHT HERE)

Here is why you should be careful with diving into 2021 Topps Chrome.
Total RC AUTOS in 2021: 133
Yes, 133 different RC autos. To put that in perspective, here is what the last 3 years have had.
- 2020: 77
- 2019: 76
- 2018: 72
There is a LOT of junk. Seriously, there will be nearly 100 RC Base Auto’s that will be worth $10 or less by next month. The amount of frustrating “hits” will be high. The silver lining is that this will drive the top names up significantly higher than other years. Guys like Kelenic and Vaughn will be highly sought after.
Also…..
These top names – Jarred Kelenic & Andrew Vaughn do NOT have base RC cards. That degrades the value of holding wax. Kelenic does have a Super Short Print (SSP). There are going to be very few of them…. but if there are any, they are below:
Let’s talk through the Top 15 guys… but keep in mind these prices will shift downward in the coming days and a few of the guys we are projecting based on listed prices.
Also, keep in mind that colored parallels can be hard to project in the early stages. But a pretty good barometer to use is the following chart. This is based on some top names from the past few years and should be a simple starting point to help you know price to pay/sell for a colored auto.
This is not an exact science…especially with the low #’d parallels.
