LSC is this best in breaking business, i watched many breakers through youtube and never found a place like them ! Ive only been breaking with them for about half a year now but they really have made me enjoy collecting cards again .. Its like a family there at LSC very respectable group of people and i would never leave … Im so glad i found individuals like the people at LSC !

These guys try to hard but at the end of the day there prices are through the roof and there schedule is weird. I dont want to be trained and stuff like a dog when to pee, I want to break when I want to break. HIGHEST PRICE AROUND!!

LSC has no originality whatsoever. Whatever other breakers do, count on LSC to do the same. LSC has two points of differentiation: 1) the arrogance of Rich Layton is second to none, and 2) the prices are by far the highest around. If you have the privilege of being on the LSC mailing list, you will regularly get e-mails bribing you to get into breaks. LSC has to do a ridiculous amount of giveaways to sell out breaks. While customers think they are all getting “free” stuff, they don’t seem to realize the price of spots are crazy high to pay for these “free” giveaways. There are MANY other breakers out there, try one that really cares about customers.

Self absorbed and arrogant, sometimes i guess money is more important than customers :).

Before you read the reviews from this breaker’s staff and close friends at the beginning of these reviews, do yourself a favor and add up pricing on any new break of Layton’s. This guy is by FAR the most expensive breaker on the internet…I don’t care how fast he may ship when you see how badly he rips customers off on pricing. Go almost anywhere else and protect your wallet, its not with dealing with this guy’s ego AND outlandish pricing.

LSC has the highest prices around. bottom line. Breaker Rich is arrogant and is always complaining and trying to get you to buy into his other breaks while conducting a break. If you want to over pay and listen to someone complain all day, then this is the place for you. Guy only cares about the people who spend big money with him. Doesn’t give a crap about everyone else. Two thumbs down.

I’ve just started with Live Breaks and I think that Rich Layton does a great job! He consistently sells out and tries to get things done quickly. Good guy and good company!

When not breaking the breakers have great stories and when breaking they protect each and every card!!! They are trustworthy guys and they try to do everything for their customers. This is the greatest breaker site to me because of the overall entertainment and likeability!!! I have watched other breakers and by far rich and brad know what they are doing!!!

Pros: Rich, Brad, Sara and their shipping crew are hands down the best in the business. They are flexible, have a great variety, fair prices and always ship the cards on time and in great condition. They provide high quality video and products for the breaks. I have been breaking with them for months and have never had any issues. Always respectable in the business and treat their customers special. They also provide one of a kind products in their breaks, which are awesome! They are a fun and family oriented business!

Cons: Going hitless. But can you really blame LSC. It happens in all breaks and at least LSC tries to compensate you going hitless with a hobby pack. Sometimes there is a boom in there!

Overall, LSC brings the BOOMS and the FUN in card collecting! LSC works hard to provide 100% customer satisfaction. Oh yeah and watch out for their giveaways. Some of the best giveaways in the business and LSC always have incredible promotional giveaways too! Most recommended!

I just started collecting this year again. I used to collect when I was younger. LSC was recommended by a friend. Wow I am happy to find such a fun place. It’s like a family atmosphere. Made a lot of new friends as I was accepted immediately by total strangers. Rich,Brad and Sara run a great place to buy into breaks or just stop by to chat. One the most important things though is that they are honest and very high in integrity.

Has a lot of different breaks. shipping time is ok. bad thing is that if you dont spend tons of money with him you are not treated good. only cathers to his big spenders. ex. if you ask a question he will ignore you but if one of his big spenders ask a question he will answer. happened many times. Try to treat everyone the same. not everyone is rich and can spend $10,000 on a break.

The guy was a bit snobbish and egotistical, the break was clean and I got my cards in a decent amount of time. However after going to a couple other breakers I realized the prices here were HIGH. Wow does this guy rip off his customers – just check out his prices when he puts up a new break and add them up. Not sure why anyone would buy from Rich (appropriate name) Layton with all the other options out there. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Only takes care of his big spenders, ignores the rest. Sends you SPAM once you sign up once to bribe you into buying into his overpriced breaks. SUPER HIGH PRICES compared to other breakers, not sure how he stays in business. Are customers really that clueless that they keep coming back here? Just try someone else for a day and see how badly you were ripped off here. I wish I could rate price a ZERO

Layton is where I go for cases of new products with fast breaks and efficient schedules. Breaks usually fill quickly, and they break expeditiously without filler. Less “entertainment”, more breaking, on-time.

One of the first, definitely one of the best!! Prices are very competitive. Some breaks are extremely high end, but Rich always has breaks that fit within any breakers budget. New breakers are always welcome and Rich makes sure to recognize them in the room and welcome them to the breaking community. Thanks Rich for all the years of breaking!! -tomk

Best Guys Out there. Funny Dudes!

This guy is terrible. I gave his breaks a look about a year ago. He is overpriced. Also was not happy that when a card has to be randomized, due to multiple team ownership, it is not done right after that break. He randomizes at the end of the night for all breaks. The arrogance of this guy was off putting as well. After two days of his breaks, I shopped elsewhere to spend my money. The only nice thing I can say about this guy is that he does ship quick. Do yourselves a favor shop elsewhere, this guy needs a reality check. If you stop spending money with him, maybe he’ll change how he presents himself and check his pricing to fix what is broken. STEER CLEAR!!!

Like some others say, the break prices at Layton Sports Cards can be higher than others at times.

But I’ve been attending breaks with some other breakers as well, and I would say that Layton Sports Cards is the most reliable.

Breaker Rich is very knowledgeable, and he takes good care of you whether it be just the communication during breaks or when inquiring about something over the email.

I still do break at variety of breaker sites, but feel most comfortable when in Layton Sports Cards breaks.

my favorite place to get in a break, or to just to hang out and chat. i was treated with respect and welcomed to the family months before i even got in my first break with Layton Sports Cards.Rich and LSC have helped me out more than anyone will ever know, and that was before i even spent one dime with them. Seen a lot of other reviews talking about how overpriced Layton is. I just don’t see it. They do a lot of higher tier products and the prices may seem high but are frankly in line with the product. Have always enjoyed their breaks. No one likes skunking and I have skunked with Layton and many others. I have had the pleasure of being in the room with Rich while breaking and I know he would like nothing more than to see all his customers do well. I have always liked the fact that Layton breaks almost always fill and break on time. If I buy into a break I don’t enjoy waiting 5 days for the break to fill or feel obligated to purchase spots I don’t want in order to get a break to go and that never seems to be the case at Layton. Breaks are always entertaining and well produced. I think there are always things breakers could use to work on, but I always feel at home breaking with Layton. I’m not a big spender but never have a problem getting questions answered or concerns dealt with. Would recommend to anyone.

I have done breaks with many sites. Rich Sara and Brad are 3 of the nicest I have broken with, They all try their best and if mistakes happen they always make it right! Great crew at LSC

Always great to break with. Prices are good. Willing to answer questions and help in anyway. Has a great group of regulars who are also willing to help and answer questions. Im not one that can get into breaks every day and the Layton group still treats me as if I’m there everyday. Great group that I will continue to support

Great place to go for breaks. They always have different kinds of breaks to accommodate his customers. I’m not a heavy hitter but Rich and staff have always addressed any of my concerns immediately. They really care of their customers and the chat rooms are always fun. the negative comments obviously come from people with agendas.

I’ve read the other reviews for Layton Sports Cards and am surprised. I’ve only ever had good experiences with Rich and his staff. Even after an expensive card was missing from a break once, I contacted Rich and he PROMPTLY replaced the card with an even lower numbered version. About the prices being too high, I’ve looked around myself and have found the prices to be comparable, if not less, to others. There are breaks ranging from $20 a spot to hundreds; just know what you’re able to do and you’ll have a great time.

They are the best breakers out there, in my opinion. I have watched many other breakers and they always have some gimmick or something that is nothing but annoying… Unless you’re a 12-18 YO boy.

Rich and his family are a top notch company. They are the most honest breakers out there and will do whatever it takes to make their customers happy.

I have been breaking with them for almost 2 years and they are and will continue to be the group that I break with.

So Rich Layton begs a bunch of his friends to leave him good reviews on this site, don’t be fooled by the quick glut of all 5-star breaks.

I tried this guy a couple times since he has a pretty well put together website and figured, hey if it looks quality it much have quality.

Wow was I wrong.

He has a nice website because he can afford to with the WAY OVERPRICED breaks he sells. When he posts a new product, add up what he is selling cases at, its absolutely ridiculous and way higher than other breakers. The pricing alone is enough to make me look elsewhere, but this guy has an ego to match it. I won’t throw personal details on a public site like this, but unless you are one of his “buddies” (who happen to ALWAYS hit the best cards in his breaks), don’t expect fair treatment. Can probably find out who his friends are by looking at the 5-star reviews below.

Ok, one bright spot. Shipping is good, my three cards came packed well and shipped fast. For the price I paid (my fault – I should have researched other breaks first) I would hope they were shipped on clouds of gold.

well as a new break with Layton sports I found rich is fair & honest some people complain on his prices but if you look at other breakers website there prices are well in what other sites sell there breaks for and ur think his prices are high don’t buy and complain….just some people are not adverse in what prices go for and the value of the product has to offer…breakers website like rich offer greater value in group case breaks when some product too expensive to buy a box or case…..also yes there are risks that you make not get a hit or the value of the hit or hits at no fault of the breaker website but the manufactured of said product..

I’m relatively new to breaking, but LSC has been the example I measure all other sites. The number 1 reason I like LSC, is they have lots of action. Breaks almost every night and they almost always sell out and happen live. I have NO OTHER SITE that can match the activity. (I like to pre-buy a slot for my sons and send them the time to watch or the link the next day. No waiting day by day week by week to fill breaks. LSC is 2nd to no one on activity.)

Price is competitive. I’m not sure why the bad reviewer can’t do simple math. Group breaks add up to ~amount of the case if I bought anywhere else.

Shipping is great and LSC bundles my wins together.

Likeability is great. LSC seems very fair and I don’t know what other reviewers are referring to “preferred treatment”. I have had several Skunks and several great breaks.

Variety is the best! NO OTHER site has as much action.

I’m not sure where the negative comments about LSC are coming from. I’ve been breaking with them for awhile now and have found them to be nothing but professional and honest! I have been in breaks with many different breakers and believe me, Layton is one of the best. They ship in a timely manner and price their breaks fairly. I can’t say the same for some of the other breakers that I’ve dealt with. Another positive about LSC is the fact that Rich has always responded to my questions, another key factor when determining which breaker to spend your money with. Keep doing what you’re doing… GO LSC!!!!!

Rich and Brad seem to be decent guys, but man are they boring. How about mix it up and have fun. Both of them look like they don’t want to be there. I have been breaking for awhile and their prices are high, not the highest I have ever seen, but up there. They never run any type of fillers, instead just pound their room with the links to said break. Shipping time is horrid as they only ship twice a week-(Monday and Friday). So if you get a hit on Tuesday be prepared to wait pretty much a week before you get it. I used to enjoy going over there for breaks, but I found way better options-(more entertaining rooms with lower prices).

I don’t know where the bad reviews are coming from! I love LSC and they are super friendly and put their customers first. I have enjoyed breaking with them and have to say they are my favorite. Brad and Rich are super nice guys and deserve better feedback. I met them at nationals aswell and they were super nice in person. Enjoy just hanging with them even when I’m not breaking. Shipping is quick and no damage ever! Super careful with the cards and spend a lot of time to make sure our breaking experience is awesome! GO LSC FAM!!!

I participated in Mike trout swag break. What an absolute disaster!!!! Aside from a few friends of his, everyone else got a base card worth about a dollar for the mere buy-in of $78.00!!! What a total rip off.

these guys cant be trusted. they use fake customers in the breaks to keep half the hits and ive got friends who didnt recieve their cards on a number of occasions. i would use one of the many other breakers rather than risk losing your money. 0/5

Second time my cards have ‘gone missing in the mail’. DO NOT TRADE WITH THESE JOKERS. ASS WIPES! cant give 0 star or i would!
