I’ll admit, 2017-18 Panini Revolution Basketball stole my heart last fall. I was a huge fan of the style and delivery of the product. There was enough “chase” and value in the product that it ushered me back into the late 90’s era. This is how collecting should be; not auto driven and all about photos/fun parallels. So… when 2018 Panini Unparalleled was announced I was immediately interested. We were able to snag a case and are going to share our thoughts below.

This is definitely a product that will make it’s mark on the ability to drive interest in all of the parallels. There are a LOT of them. 11 to be exact. If you want to superset any of these you’ll need to be aware of what exactly is happening. So let me show you a visual to help you understand the various parallels. This is 9 of the 11… the only two missing are the BURST (1/1) and the GALACTIC (likely 1/1…but will not be #’d).
Hopefully this helps provide you a little more context to what you are collecting. Each box provides 7 #’d cards so you’ll want to be quick on your feet as you are ripping and sorting. But once you see them in person you’ll quickly catch on to the uniqueness of the parallels.
The Shine and Impact parallels looks REALLY nice in person and I might find myself chasing some of those for my favorite players.

OUR BREAK….
We are breaking a MASTER CASE of the product (16 boxes)… with each MC you are supposed to land ONE Galactic, so we’ll see how that works out. I’m also interested in the consistency because I’d like a set or two. For the first day or two I’ll keep this fresh with pictures and of our break.

This is definitely fun. The cards really pop and the mystery of all the parallels makes the chase pretty excited. We really enjoyed the rip….
We didn’t like a few corners already damaged (thankfully not great players).
