Criteria
We run reports on all rookies PRIZM SILVER sales for a given week. We exclude any variation, auto, or memorabilia prices to make sure you are getting a good representation of the actual silver pricing. We use silver prices as a baseline because they are considered by many to be the de facto standard for “base” rookie – NBA cards.

Any other thoughts?
Thanks for sharing the sales prices with us! Just wanted to note that you may want to re-calculate the average price for the rookie silver prizms. Not sure if you’re using a weighted average or something. In your article you state the average is $91.26. I come up with an average of $51.07 (and a median of $25.70) based upon the prices in your table this week.
As a side note, for your weekly reports it might be cool to publish the range of sales prices (high and low) or some other metric such as standard deviation that gives us a sense of the variation in pricing. Such a metric might help capture the level of volitility.
Also, just curious, do you use a website scraper to pull the eBay prices or is it a manual process? Any favorite methods (python script, etc)?
Keep up the good work!
