Feb 5th | 2017/18 NBA Rookie Card Pricing Ladder | Allen, Jackson, and Lauri — middle is moving!

What a fun week for NBA rookies! We are starting to see some Tier 2 rookies make some waves and it’s showing in the price ladder. Guys like Jarrett Allen, Kennard, & Justin Jackson had a great 10day stretch. We are entering the stretch where some of the Tier 2 + Tier 3 guys on mediocre teams will get a LOT MORE playing time. So watch data closely, there are some steals….especially when eBay sellers aren’t paying attention. 😉

Here are some quick thoughts:

Jarrett Allen His last 6-7 games are insane. He’s a double-double machine. Like his upside.

Dennis Smith Jr: He’s bottomed at $71. After his expected dunk-contest performance I could easily see him selling for $80-$90.

Luke Kennard: He had a NICE 5-game stretch and it moved his cards….

Justin Jackson: He’s alive!. He tripled his base silver prices…had 3 good games…he’s a shooter, so he can put up #’s.

Let’s review the Top 10!

Criteria

We run reports on all rookies prizm silver sales for a given week. We exclude any variation, auto, or memorabilia prices to make sure you are getting a good representation of the actual silver pricing. We use silver prices as a baseline because they are considered by many to be the de facto standard for “base” rookie – NBA cards.
