It’s happening. The Miami Dolphins are ushering a new era for their football team. Next week, when the Dolphins return from bye…TUA TAGOVAILOA will be their starting QB. Let’s see what this means for TUA’s cards.

The Dolphins are making their move.

Let’s be honest, the timing is extremely precarious. The Dolphins are coming off a 24-0 victory over the hapless NY JETS…and Ryan Fitzpatrick has been more than serviceable. In fact as of today ( 10/20) — he ranks #7 on the QBR rankings for QB’s.

This tells me two things…

#1 > It’s likely this move was premeditated for some time. The general idea was likely to see if Miami could be competitive until the bye…and use that 2 week break to transition.

#2 > Tua must look great in practice. Even if the move was planned…there is likely a different degree of confidence the team/coaches are seeing. This should have folks genuinely excited about the prospects of him being ready to go!

Regardless, we have one of the more likable, talented QB’s of the draft….getting his debut! This will create yet another wave of buzz across the football card market.
