Okay, we are sitting here on August 10th, 2019…and if you are excited about any of the rookies from the 2018-19 Rookie class, now is the time to invest. We are about a month away from the preseason starting and the hype beginning to quickly ramp up. So use the #’s wisely and find yourself some good bargains!
NOTE, as of last report (VOL 12) I’m posting both PSA and BGS #’s as well. At this point I have a very good feel for where the multipliers land with BGS 9.5 and PSA 10’s for each player. As an investor or a hobbyist looking to invest in players, you’ll want to consider graded…so I’m going to try and give you AS MUCH information as I can. Please note, that with some of the bottom-half players I’m only using the multiplier because there isn’t a huge market for their PSA cards. Those can fluctuate a bit more so just use it as a gauge to help you buy smarter!
Finally, if you are looking for boxes, I still think the best bet is to purchase Cello boxes. I wouldn’t pay more than $110 a box. Here are some that are available now:

There are going to be SO many opportunities for Miles Bridges to make the highlight reel. He is likely going to be Option #1 in Charlotte this season and I could see the PSA 10 easily clearing $100 by early-to-mid season.

I mentioned this during out Summer League posts… there isn’t a guy more electric from the 2018-19 NBA Draft class. He showed his skills at Texas Tech, sampled them the last week of last season, and absolutely showed them during the NBA Summer League. He has no pressure on him, which is for a younger guy like Zhaire could make all the difference in the world. This is a $50 PSA 10 by November.

Another guy that I mentioned from the Summer League. I really like what he brings to the Thunder and he started to show why OKC was extremely high on him. At $24 for a PSA 10 and $6-$8 for a raw…I’m absolutely taking chances on Hamidou.

Here is a guy that the rest of the market is starting to get excited about. He’s moved up the volume charts 3 weeks in a row, his PSA prices are rising faster than his raw. His summer league performance is a huge driver here, but seriously for less than $15 you really can’t miss the chance.

I’m sorry, I know this is a darling sleeper pick heading into his sophomore season. But first (and foremost) I’m not AS HIGH on his game than others… and I think the hype got way out in front of his potential. He’s near $40 for a PSA 10 and over the last 3 reports he’s seem declining / mediocre interest. I’d like to see some folks buying up more of his raw Silver’s for me to get more interested. This has the recipe for a $20 PSA 10 in 3 months.
